Among the Games in the Fur genre on October 22, 2021, an important event occurred – a step -by -step strategy with elements of the novel Super Robot Wars 30 was the first project from this franchise to overcome the borders of the Asian market. Occasionally, franchises join them, in which there are only spaceships, for example, Captain Harlock or Cowboy Bebop.
As of December 2021, Super Robot Wars 30 contains characters, fur and robots of 24 animation works, three games and two variations containing black options that have not received adaptations. Probably in the future this list will be replenished using free and paid DLCs, since the game has very high sales.
If you are not familiar with any of the franchises participating in Super Robot Wars 30, then because of this you should not worry. This part is not related to previous games, and the ASU important points are explained in detail and phased in the dialogs between the main characters. Special events that a player may want to know a little more about are displayed into a separate guide. Moreover, it can be left both from the main menu and during a conversation through pressing a word highlighted by a highlighted hyperlink.

The most important thing in such work is to carry out the interaction of characters from different universes so that the new story does not spoil the original materials.
Take, for example, one of the beginners in this series, namely SSSS.Gridman. In the mission, where the main characters of this work are first shown, the first 20 minutes briefly repeat the original plot. Then, both the new enemies and the characters of other franchises fall into his already strange world. After acquaintance and mutual assistance, the heroes are united in one detachment, and already in subsequent missions a protagonist from SSSS.Gridman takes an active part in events that could not occur in its original story.
Thus, in Super Robot Wars 30, some positive characters and their eternal enemies were taken from each franchise. Therefore, at certain moments, the player’s detachment will attack the remnants of the Zeon Empire from Gandama, Gridman kaizu, invaders from Getter Robo, Mahi of the Kingdom of Zilkustan from Code Geass and many, many others.
Naturally, in order for this all correctly interacts, you need a certain event, which will be a skeleton for everything else. This function is designated by original characters created specifically for Super Robot Wars 30. A girl named Mitzuba is the captain of the Dreisstrager combat ship, built by the Earth Federation. It is this place that will be the main base for all newcomers. Their main mission is to put an end to military conflicts, bringing the world into a state of peace and peace.
Before starting the campaign, the player can choose one of the two main characters: the guy Aig Sainclaus or the girl Az Saynclaus. The same surname is chosen not just like that, and according to the plot between them there is a certain connection. Consequently, the characters are spelled out in different ways, which is why the dialogs during the narrative will vary.
In addition, the player must choose how the campaign will begin: either the start will take place on planet Earth, or at the space station. The sequence of meetings with other characters depends on this solution. In space, first of all, you will get acquainted with the heroes of Gundam V and Majestic Prince, but on Earth, newcomers on Dreisstrager will be heroes from Mazinger Z and Combattler V. There were no other strong changes.
As for the missions themselves, they can be divided into the following groups:
DLC, in which the hire of new heroes is carried out or the story preceding the main events is told;
Battles with previously defeated bosses, but with a larger army, or you need to survive several waves of enemies with a minimum number of union units.
So there is enough entertainment for a long time! I have not yet said about certain conditions from the crew members, after which the player receives some bonuses. For example, you must accumulate the indicated amount of money, bring the heroes to the title of "AS" and the like.
Moreover, the developers for the first time allowed to play only in mission, promoting the plot of the main campaign marked with a special star. This was done specifically for those who are interested in the history of Super Robot Wars 30, but do not have excess free time.
There are 10 chapters out of 43 main missions in the game. If everything is passing, then the number increases to 135. There are also 10 constantly repeating episodes in which the player can farm resources to improve fur, robots, spacecraft and pilots.
By the way, some additional missions require special conditions to open the next task. For example, the specified pilot should win 30-60 enemies in total. Part of the quests can exclude each other, and the other part is a secret. Of course, in the latter case, the player will not receive obvious tips, and therefore, you need to adhere to some conditions.
So, when completing the first task related to the work of Code Geass, I found that you can prematurely get the Susaks of Kuroruga to my team, and in another case, I was even restored the dead character. Basically, the principle here is quite simple: if the enemy calls to a duel, then it is necessary to destroy it precisely the character whom he is eager to see.
Regarding the passage of the campaign, there is another small and last detail, for which it is worth preparing. In some chapters, the player will not have time to complete all the side tasks, as he will be forced to interrupt to an emergency quest. The entire screen will be painted in red tones, and all other missions will be removed. But do not worry and restart back. All this is temporary, and after passing this episode, you will be allowed to complete both past secondary quests and new.
Get and develop
In each mission, the player will be accrued by a certain number of units of basic resources. There are three of them in total: loans, mxp and pp. The first is the usual money currency that is used to upgrade fur and its tools. By the middle of the game is supplied in sufficient quantities. MXP glasses are spent on strengthening the Dreisstrager ship through the AOS system. At first, the eyes are already scattering from the proposed effects, because each of them significantly improves that the whole detachment, that their native base.
For the convenience of perception and quick search for the right bonus, the entire ship was divided into 6 compartments (captain’s bridge, hangar, machine department, training room, rooms, laboratory), each of which has three lines of skills. In turn, any line consists of 8 main levels and one bonus, which will have to be spent a huge number of MXP, but it is worth it.
The last resource is the rarest and seriously accumulated. PP glasses are used to buy and improve the pilot skills. To do this, there is a special store where the player must first purchase the selected skills, and then scatter them through the right heroes. At the moment, 28 skills and 6 parameters are available (increasing damage from hand -to -hand and long attacks, increased protection, evasion, accuracy and chance of critical hit).

Some of them can be improved several times, and if they were already from the hero at the time of its appearance, and not bought separately, then the upgrade will occur after an increase in the pilot level. Obtaining these resources can be accelerated in six ways. First you should invest in the development of the laboratory compartment on the Dreisstrager ship. Moreover, the first is the Aprinite line with MXP, because the more these points, the less time will need to completely open lines with the two remaining resources.
The second method is associated with sorties on a global map. The fact is that the whole world Super Robot Wars 30 is divided into large locations: solar system, space colonies and bases, planet Earth and Black Ocean. Each of them also has internal divisions, for example, on Earth these are continents, and of course there are several cities on them. And when an exclamation mark appears in one of such a terrain, then Dreisstrager must be moved to it, after which several mechs will be automatically sent to an intelligence operation. This business takes less than a minute, and the reward will be a couple of crumbs, but personally I was happy with this.

Then, occasionally, the mysterious fairy of Iris appears, which offers instantly to receive one of three resources: 80,000 loans, 1000 PP and 4000 MXP. Here, every player needs to request what is currently required for personal. I sought to quickly develop my native ship, so I always asked to give mxp. The appearance of the fairy is marked by a flashing pink inscription OBD Observed in the main menu, and you can find it on the same global map. The location in which it will be is marked with a small fairy icon.
The fourth method is associated with support members. There are characters from each franchise who do not use combat mechanisms, but can provide strengthening during the battle. Some restore health, the latter increase damage, others give additional MXP or loans, well, and the like.
Regarding MXP, we are now interested in only two characters: Mayvy and Mokon. The first is the head of the laboratory on Dreisstrager, so it is available immediately. Can accrue 5 MXP for each destroyed enemy, but only to those units that the player will choose. But Mokon will join the team with girls from Magic Knight Rayearth. At the end of the mission, she will be able to give 200-300 units MXP.

The fifth method is similar to the previous one, but this time the pilots and commanders of the ships through spiritual orders (which I will talk about a little later) increase the received loans/pp by 100%, with the complete destruction of enemy unit.
And finally the last way is related to spare parts. There are more than 100 of them in the game, and by rarity they are divided into bronze, silver, gold and rainbow. For each robot, fur or ship, you can install an element that either increases the characteristics or allows you to use skills that cannot be bought or associated with the extraction of resources.
For example, if the unit is equipped with an MXP converter and makes 10 movements on a combat map, then at the end of the mission this number will be multiplied by 20, as a result of which the player receives 200 MXP units. There are similar amplifiers for each resource, but you can get them only when performing missions. Unfortunately, there are no special stores, but at the same time, unnecessary elements can be sold for credit cards.
What should not be forgotten about
In addition to resources, there are various counters and scales that must be monitored during the battle. Each unit in attack/counterattack uses personal weapons. Some tools use physical shells, while others use energy. Both types of ammunition are spent after each use, and if you do not replenish in time, then unit will not be able to cause damage. Here it is necessary to either use certain spare parts, or call support heroes, or transfer the fur to the hangar of the Union ship. Also, during the upgrade of fur, you can increase the upper limit of the energy supply.
Next is an indicator with the moral of the pilot. The lower it is, the more slanter the hero. If it falls, it will cause little damage, and he will stop evading enemy attacks. Plus, a high moral indicator is needed to use powerful attacks. Mainly increases after the destruction of enemies. Otherwise, the same actions are used as when replenishing ammunition.
By the way, the support heroes themselves will also not be able to constantly use. At the beginning of the round, a certain number of S-SP glasses stand out on them. Each of the strengthening has its own cost, and without appropriate improvement of sections on Dreisstrager for one battle, the player will be able to use help only once. Therefore, do not forget about this functionality, since support will be able to save in a hopeless situation.
And, as I said earlier, all units have spiritual orders for which SP glasses are used. In the usual state, this counter is replenished, like S-SP, that is, 5 units per round. Also, the skills of the pilot, spare parts, help support and strengthen the Dreisstrager sections can affect this indicator.
It is important to know that some heroes, such as Lelush, Itiro ogami and Shinziro Taiga have universal teams that do not spend SP glasses, but are equated to a separate move, so units will no longer be able to attack or move. Next to them is the girl Fu Hoodzi, who has three magic teams. The difference from previous heroes is that their use does not block the course, but re -use will be available only in the new battle.
The last important indicator is the EX-COUNT scale. It is divided into 10 cells, which are filled in three ways:

The thing is very necessary and powerful, since these additional orders are able to turn off the course of the battle. For example, fuckers and robots can be 100% likely to deliver a critical blow, or any attack (even the most powerful) will not spend energy or physical shells. Ships can also use this scale, but their orders differ. For example, the chosen unit will increase morality by 10 units or urgently evacuated into the hangar without spending his action points.
And, of course, a couple of words about filling health. The most common way is to use the spiritual order TRUST. In second place is treatment in the hangars of ships, but in the third – special spare parts. There are special cases. Erica Fontaine (Sakura Wars) was added from the first DLC, which once for the battle can replenish NR at once by all union units. The technique is powerful and is very useful at the later stages of the game.
Also, some units have a reception of Repair, replenishing part of the health of union unit. He does not spend SP glasses and is considered a separate move for which they give experience as for the murder of the enemy. Interestingly, a character who has this technique can treat himself. At the same time, experience is accrued and it turns out that the hero raises himself. Bug is or still feature? So far it remains a mystery, since there were no corrections in past patches.

Battle Field: The whole world
As for the battles themselves, then the usual step -by -step system. Before the battle, the player chooses units, changes their spare parts and conducts Aprhead if necessary, and after confirming the settings, landing on the field from square cells occurs. Each gun has its own range, which is visually marked with red squares. If unit can attack several cells at once, then the word Mar will be written next to its name. Be careful with her, since no one canceled the fire on its own.
Also, some guns can be shot only after moving to the neighboring cage, and while this condition is not fulfilled, this attack will be blocked, even if energy and moral indicators correspond to the indicated parameters. In another case, several furs or robots can make a joint powerful attack. Here it is necessary that each of them has high morality, and most importantly – both of them should attend the field not far from each other.
As in the previous parts, during the battle it is worth paying attention to the terrain, since the guns, that units have four parameters: air (AIR), _ Earth (GRD), water (WTR) and space (SPC). Each of them can have the meaning of S, A, B, C, D, where the last three worsen part of the indicators by 10, 20 and 60 percent. For example, the Air parameter for Gridman is equal to, but the rest is. Therefore, do not be surprised that in the "flight" mode, he will take most of the enemy shells with his body.
Such mechanics applies to tools. If the indicators are equal to B, C, D, you can forget about the exact hits with high damage and a critical effect. However, the situation can be corrected using special rare spare parts.

When an attack is made on a friendly unit, the player is given a choice of subsequent action: you can hold a counterattack or execute the evasion maneuver or hop the shield, standing on a defensive rack. Also, some units have protective barriers that disperse part of the damage, for example, from radiation tools. This can be seen in the parameters of enemy armor during the battle or in the tasks of the current mission.
There are moments in which a member of your detachment fails to evasion from the enemy shell. From the damage received, he can be saved by a nearby comrade, but only if the latter has the necessary skill to protect.
And here I will return to the modernization of fur, robots and ships. All of them can increase the indicators of health, energy, armor, mobility, accuracy and damage from tools. Each parameter by default has 10 development cells, but through the Dreisstrager sections this number can be increased to 20. Plus, when the player will increase all the characteristics (except guns) to the first five levels, Unit will receive a special bonus.
Thus, it will be issued 4 more times (when reaching the 10th, 15th and 20th levels), but there is a slight difference. For the very first time the player does not choose a bonus, but then a list of 8 characteristics will be provided. They are very powerful, so be sure to invest in your favorites.
Another of interesting things is the pilot of the title “AS” and “Great AS”. Each character must destroy 60 and 80 enemy units respectively. When buying a special skill Proud Ace, these values will be reduced by 10 points, that is, you will need to knock out 50 and 70 enemies. So be sure to purchase it for each pilot. After the formation of an ace, the hero will receive an increase in some indicators that will never be superfluous. In addition, a dialogue between the main character and such a character will become available as a bonus. It is quite cheerful, and at the end of it, several units of resources will be given.
Since it was about pilots, it is worth mentioning about the change of armor. To a greater extent, each armor is controlled by one character who cannot be changed to another. However, there are two other cases. Some of the pilots from one franchise can change their native car to someone else’s, that is, there is interchangeability. Although there is a small nuance. As soon as the quest with the participation of such a fur begins, the stranger will be executed, and the original character will be put in the cabin.
In the second case, one mechanism is controlled by two pilots. One of them is the main, and the second secondary and in the middle of the battle their role can be changed through the corresponding point in the menu. But here is a double situation. When the enemy is destroyed, both increase their level, but the murder counter rises only in the main pilot. Therefore, the title of "AS" needs to be obtained separately.

As for the graphic part, everything is as beautiful here as in the recent parts. The pictures are bright and juicy, during dialogs, the characters often change the expression on the face, and the battlefields are located in various territories. It is not worth waiting for the destruction of objects in cities, here they have not yet been dared to. But if the unit comes under water, then you will hear a familiar gurgle.
Miniatures that the allies, that the enemies, are made close to the original. During the attack of some unit, colorful animation is shown. As for me, the best for the new arrivals. They involve more combinations of movements and various actions, which makes it the impression that they are even longer than others.
In front of the animation of the battle, musical accompaniment turns on. Moreover, the choice of composition directly depends on the belonging of Unit to the original franchise. Therefore, throughout the battle, you can change the melodies several times, depending on your preferences.
A spoiled gift of a gift
What upset a little is the implementation of transformations in furs and robots. On the fingers of one hand you can count those that are made on the game engine. During other transformations, a video clipping from anime is used, but the most ridiculous case when the screen is in the case for a couple of seconds of white, and only then before the player in a new format.
The same category includes black screens that pop up in the break between the attacks of an ally and enemy. In the previous part of Super Robot Wars T, there were no more transitions, but here is a real step backward. From the project to the 30th anniversary of such simplifications you definitely do not expect. Of course, this does not interfere with the gaming process, but I would like to believe that they will get rid of black screens in one of the future patches.
As for other conflicting moments, I would like to pay attention to the levels of complexity. I immediately started on the penultimate, but I have not met wild difficulties in the campaign. In addition, this is due to the fact that enemy AI does not fully realize its potential. Some units specifically miss the course, especially when there are a lot on the map. Thus, they miss the moments with the surroundings of a unit of an ally or its finishing. In addition to this, enemy bosses almost always use only one attack. There is a feeling that they were deprived of powerful techniques.
Also, personally, the moment with the heroes from past parts and new DLCs personally grieves me. They are all good, but in the missions that promote the main plot, some of them are not allocated at all. A pair of sentences in dialogs would be enough, otherwise it turns out that only beginners concentrate all the events around them, while others are given the role of the fan service.
